  5. Plastics Collection - The next collection for packaging foam and CD’s will be held on Saturday, September 27th at Curtis Middle School, 10:00am to 12:00pm. Note that all other plastics, numbered 1 through 7 (and unmarked) may be taken to the transfer station and placed in the labeled bins

This free four-meeting Sudbury Valley Trustees workshop will involve a modest time commitment from each person or family involved, but will get you well on your way to shedding those unwanted pounds. The goal of the workshop is to reduce your yearly CO2 emissions by 5,000lbs. We will meet four times (once every other week) to discuss methods of reducing CO2, plan your next steps, and share what you have done so far. All participants are encouraged to buy David Gershon's "Low Carbon Diet: A 30-Day Program to Lose 5,000 Pounds" The cost of the book is $12.95.
